A Dream Come True

its finally becoming a reality. ikea will be opening a store ten minutes from my house sometime in the spring. no more "Sorry, this product is not for sale on our website, check if it is available in your local store."

i'm very excited. i tried to take pictures while driving. here's the proof:

katie, I went to IKEA yesterday (in Austin) and thought of you--they had so many great things that I bet you would love. In my "file" at home I have hundreds of pictures torn out of magazines-maybe one day i'll try to post some with suggestions/ideas for you--
those plates for the girls' bathroom are super cute.

Katie, I'm so excited, too. And it's so close to us. I always make a point to hit an IKEA when visiting my sister or other family members who live near one. All I'm asking for for my birthday are IKEA gift cards. People around here don't understand when I get so excited about it opening.
